This, like many other speaker docks, says it works with iPhone but DOES NOT, at least not without going into airplane mode. Useless.

This was the one “toy” I was really looking forward to receiving for Christmas, so when I tried using the first time and nothing happened, I was very upset. I came back here to be sure I’d asked for the right speakers to work with my iphone 3GS, and read other comments about keeping airplane mode off. Viola! These speakers now move from room to room with me, and they sound GREAT for their size. I like these so much, I’m planning on making a little carrying case to prevent scratching while traveling, and to keep everything together…
Two minor issues: The first is the remote. It looks/feels to be of cheap quality, and it seems big compared to the speakers–almost half the speaker length! My second complaint is the lack of physical support for the iphone when docked in the speakers. The iphone doesn’t lean against anything so the only thing supporting it is the dock connector/plug. I’m concerned that one misstep or my toddler’s curiosity may bend/damage either the connector or my iphone…
I haven’t had the speakers long enough to know how the battery life is or withstanding sound quality, but for the price, I recommend these.

I bought this system to use at my desk at work and after about 1 month the power cord failed. The prongs of the plug fold in for storage and I suspect therein lies the trouble. I used to be able to finesse the plug in the outlet and get it to work, but now I cannot use the cord at all. Liked the sound,the shape/size was perfect for desk use and the remote worked very well. Do not want to use batteries all the time and am having trouble finding a power cord to replace the original one. Disappointing.
