Ten times better then the built-in Nav system in our Mercedes…which reguires upgrades every few years which cost more then the Garmin does!!!!!Ive been using a GPS for several years. Recently it was time to upload more current maps and the brand ( not Garmin ) I was using wanted $80 for the map update. Given the age and technology of the unit I determined that a new GPS would be a better choice. After considerable research I chose the Garmin Nuvi 265WT. I am amazed at the much improved features and functionality of this Garmin. Given the abilities of this unit, its price is fantastic ! Access to the Garmin website allows for personalizing/customizing which makes the Nuvi distinctly yours and use of the website is completely user friendly ( not so much my experience with the previous brand GPS I used ). So far, the 265wt has proven incredibly accurate and the verbal prompts are so on target that I seldom need to glance at the screen. I couldnt be happier with my Garmin…Quite the upgrade for me !

We replaced a Nuvi 350 with the 265WT. Overall, we love it. However, for some reason, it refuses to take us on the local toll road. We dont have any restrictions set in, but it still wont use the Tollway.

We bought this GPS for a trip from eastern Pennsylvania to western Wisconsin. We made this trip once before, without a GPS, and made several wrong turns because the maps we had didnt match the highway signs. This time we had no problems with missed turns, and the Points of Interest (POI) feature found us gas stations and restaurants along the way with ease.

Have had this TV for about a week and love it! It was easy to set up and the picture is great! Id recommend it. Its just the right size for our living room and we have plenty of HD channels on our cable service.

Absolutely great picture when viewing Bluray off my PS3. I also hooked it up to my 3 yr old OPPO upconverting DVD player. Although not as good as the bluray picture, it was much better than I had expected and a big leap over the way it looked on my old 720P LCD. I think the biggest improvement is the 120Hz anti-blur motion control. I was considering a 1080P 60Hz without motion control. I am 100% glad that I shelled out some extra money for the 120HZ with Motion Control. From what I have read, 120HZ by itself does not make much of a difference, but 120HZ combined with the mfgs internal motion control software makes the 120HZ a worth while feature. So this is something to think about when comparing one brand 120HZ LCD to another brand 120HZ LCD. Not all 120HZ panels are equal.

Just purchased the LN40B630. So far the LCD is working great and has exceeded my expectations. The picture actually looks better than when I saw this model in the showroom at BB. Its probably due to the fact that I dimmed the lights in our living room.

The picture is wonderful. We dont even have high def service yet (normal analog / digital hybred from Comcast), but looks great. Almost no lines, little blur. Good speakers (store was trying to sell us expensive audio). The menu looks pretty easy to navigate so far.

Quick Review: after pondering for awhile, Ive decided to give this five stars because its the best 15-inch LCD HDTV-DVD combo I could find. Thats not saying a lot… at this size, the available choices are pretty limited. Still, if this type of setup is what you need, I think its the best choice. It may be a little more expensive than others, but the quality is worth the extra money.

After researching the market, this Toshiba combo stood out above the rest… not by a little, but by a lot. A lot of top-tier manufacturers sell both good TVs and DVD players, but Toshiba is (from what I found) the only one that makes a combo at this size. The quality shows. The picture is very nice, the DVD has been flawless so far, and the build is solid.

Overall, Im pleased with it. Its light, nice-looking, and easy to set up. The default settings work well, and if you want to change them, its pretty easy to figure out how. Theres a “game” button that lets you switch to other inputs – not just game systems, but a VCR, DVR, camcorder, etc. – whatever you want to hook up. The built-in DVD player works well and is easy to use.

With flatscreen prices dropping every day, the cost might be a bit high. But the main drawback is the slowness mentioned in other reviews. It is very slow to turn on, and very slow when you change channels. I cant blame it on my cable box, because I dont use one. (I plug the coax cable directly into the TV.) I can live with it, but youre the type who loves to channel-surf, the slowness will drive you bonkers.
